RMT CIC and East Lothian Council have just finished an amazing project together.
Young people say they feel safe online. The adults in their lives aren’t so sure.
Research shows that young people aren’t talking to trusted adults about their
online lives (Cybersafe Kids, 2025). We know that talking about other tough
topics can help keep young people safe.
In this comic book of three stories, heroes and villains designed by young people
explore digital wellbeing and online safety to help support these conversations.
TechTalk is an East Lothian Council project, run by East Lothian Libraries in
partnership with Connected Communities. It is a Europe Challenge project,
funded by The European Cultural Foundation.
'TechTalk brings together families, young volunteers, libraries, and community workers to
start conversations about digital wellbeing. We learn through games, activities, and crafts.
We’ve partnered with local artist. Barry from Random Monster Table, to turn our
learning into a comic book resource for others to start their own conversations.
