East Lothian social enterprise Random Monster Table CIC will host the first public preview of its cooperative roleplaying game, DaunderMyth, at Tabletop Scotland 2026. DaunderMyth Designed to build mental health resilience in young players, the game replaces strict mechanical penalties with a peer-supported “Your Emotional World” system and arrives in UK schools this November and December

Ultimately, what excites me about Daundermyth is not simply that it is a new roleplaying game. It is the reason it exists. Gaming already gives us so many things. It can challenge us, make us laugh, encourage creativity and bring us together. Daundermyth takes those familiar qualities and gives them an additional purpose. It asks children to imagine. To communicate. To listen. To help. And yes, there are still monsters to defeat.
